Working on different PE skills with a Coronation theme - can you spot the crowns, orbs and sceptres?

Coronation Fun 👑 R/KS1 are using recycled paper and working together to make collages of the King’s silhouette 🤴🏻

The R/KS1 children have started creating the backgrounds for their own Inukshuk art inspired by the Canadian Inuit artist Kenojuak Ashevak. Some of their ideas for backgrounds included sunsets, lakes and the Northern Lights!

The children had great fun and worked as a team to decorate the school grounds with bunting in celebration of the Coronation of HM King Charles III this weekend 👑

We are doing a live YogaBugs lesson!

Working together to make a friendship web in RE

We used adjectives to describe characters from Stone Age Boy today.

Eco-Team had a visit from Sue, a swift expert, to find a place to install nest boxes at our school.

The children have been planning and cooking some wonderful recipes. In Year 3/4, the children have created their own pasta dishes. In R/KS1, the children celebrated Chinese New Year by cooking their own Chinese dishes.

The R/KS1 children have been thinking all about habitats. They chose an animal and created suitable habitats for their animal in the school grounds. They created homes for blue tits, badgers and butterflies to name just a few!

We made edible soil today in our fun-packed science lesson!

The Reception children had lots of fun making their own play dough. They chose to use green food colouring and they have been making all sorts with it - especially rainforest animals!

Eco-Team

Year 5 and 6 swapped their exercise books for snow to create and answer maths problems... They found equivalent fractions; square and cube numbers; perimeter and area; and used their understanding of the order of operations to solve problems with multiple operations.

The Reception children have been working hard practising their letter formation ✏️

As part of our Amazing Places and Spaces topic this term R/KS1 children have been learning about the Amazon Rainforest in Geography. They particularly enjoyed making chameleons that actually change colour! 🌈 🦎
